TechNode Squared’s Slack Community is for members and TechNode staff to engage with each other. It’s the best place to interact with a diverse group of people who all share a common interest: China tech. While common sense is always a good rule of thumb, here are some guidelines for our community to ease you in:
- Don’t be shy
- This community is for you! You’ll get out of it what you put in.
- Introduce yourself in #general-discussion.
- Find the right channel for your interests.
- Contribute your knowledge and opinions.
- There are no bad questions.
- Use common sense
- This is an SFW (safe for work) group. While explicit material is not allowed, explicit language (used sparingly) is acceptable.
- If you wouldn’t share something with another group of professionals, please don’t share it here.
- Be respectful
- We’re all professional adults. As such, we expect conversations to stay respectful and polite. Of course, sometimes discussions will get heated. This is fine as long as it doesn’t devolve into name-calling or blatant trolling.
- We have a no-tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior. You will get only one warning. Disrespectful behavior after that will result in immediate removal from the Slack group along with the cancellation of your membership.
- Give us feedback!
- The #feedback channel is for public discussion of anything you feel could be improved. We love hearing what you have to say and seeing how to better serve your China tech information needs.
- If you have any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to email us (hello [at] technode [dot] com) or DM one of the moderators (@Eliza Gkritsi, @John Artman, or @Suzanne.L)
