Self-driving truck startup Plus announced Monday that it will begin testing its technology with Iveco’s heavy-duty rigs in Europe and China as part of its plan to establish a global self-driving freight network with the Italian truck group. The two companies expect to begin testing in Germany, though they have not yet revealed further details. Plus is a California-based autonomous truck developer backed by venture capitalists including Sequoia Capital China, GSR Ventures, and SAIC Capital, the investment arm of the namesake Chinese automaker.
