BYD announced on Wednesday that it will showcase its new electric passenger vehicles at the Paris Motor Show 2022 in October, as the Chinese auto giant looks to expand its share in the European auto market. The move comes 14 years after BYD displayed vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008, the first time the Chinese company attended a European trade event. The automaker began its push into the European passenger car market by launching its Tang electric crossover in Norway in July, 2020, and plans to deliver its new EV models in Europe in the fourth quarter of 2022.
