BYD announced on Monday that it has formed a partnership with Hedin Mobility Group, one of the largest automotive retailers in Europe, to sell vehicles in Germany and Sweden as part of the Chinese automaker’s plans to expand its passenger vehicle business across the continent. The electric vehicle giant will open its first dealership in Stockholm in October and begin vehicle delivery to customers in the fourth quarter of this year, after partnering with car dealership Louwman to enter the Netherlands last month. BYD vehicles have also been available through distributor RSA in Norway since late 2020. [BYD release]
