Nio will expand its overseas presence by offering subscriptions of its three electric vehicle models to customers in four European countries later this year, chief executive William Li told Reuters in an interview on Friday. The EV maker will charge a monthly fee of between $1,171 and $1,264 for leasing its ET7, ET5, and EL7 cars to users from Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark, while selling vehicles directly in Norway where it began operations last September. The company has deployed three battery swap stations for EV charging in Germany and Norway and will establish a new recharging station in Sweden by the end of the year. [Reuters]
