Major Chinese phone vendor Honor has freshened up its affordable phone series Play with the launch of the new 6C on Saturday in China. The Honor Play 6C has a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1,600 resolution. It is equipped with an unnamed SM4350 Pro 5G processor from Qualcomm, which is likely a member of the Snapdragon 4 Series with eight CPU cores and Adreno 619 GPU. A rare feature these days, the phone also comes with a built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack. The model boasts a large 5,000 mAh battery, which the company claims can support 19 hours of video playback, and has a charging speed of 22.5 W. The phone has 128 GB storage and two options for RAM – 6 GB and 8 GB – with pricing from RMB 1,099 to RMB 1,299 ($154.44 – $182.55). The Honor Play 6C is now available for preorder and will become fully available from Oct. 13. [ITHome, in Chinese]
