Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse (Previously known as miHoYo) dropped Project SH and dismissed the unit working on the game, according to Chinese media outlet Game Insight. The title was an ambitious one as it aimed to launch on PC and console platforms. Project SH was reportedly developed by Unreal Engine 5, with similar gameplay to the top-selling Grand Theft Auto V. The firm will try to reallocate the team members, and if there is no proper arrangement reached, HoYoverse will offer labor compensation, according to the internal email revealed by Game Insight. The firm has yet to respond to TechNode’s inquiry on this issue. [Game Insight, in Chinese]
