The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has announced the release of a new categorization and legal framework for AI services, along with the publication of a list containing 41 companies operating in AI-related fields. The recently implemented regulation requires all Chinese companies that engage in AI-generated content to promptly apply for categorization. The listed AI algorithms cover various categories such as large models, image generation, video generation, voice synthesis, intelligent customer service, and facial simulation. Among the listed companies, prominent Chinese enterprises account for half of the list, including companies affiliated with ByteDance, Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, Meituan, and iFlytek. [CLS, in Chinese]
