China’s first open robot leasing platform, BOTSHARE, was launched to the public in Shanghai. Jiang Qingsong, partner at Zhiyuan AGIBOT and chairman of BOTSHARE, said the platform aims by 2026 to connect with more than 10 robot manufacturers, 200 premium service leasing partners, over 3,000 content creators, and more than 400,000 rental customers, with the goal of defining a new era of RaaS (Robotics as a Service). The platform currently covers 50 core cities across China, supported by a network of over 600 service providers and more than 1,000 robotic devices. By 2026, BOTSHARE plans to expand into over 200 cities, building an open and scalable robot leasing ecosystem. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
