China Mobile Guangdong has won a 155 million yuan ($22 million) contract to build a computing power service support platform for for its large-scale computing platform. The project excludes imported equipment and will use Huawei’s Ascend 910C computing cards, Tiangong architecture and Lingqu interconnect bus, delivering computing performance of 160 exaFLOPS (FP16). The storage system will combine a high-performance tier based on OceanStor A800 with a high-capacity tier using OceanStor Pacific 9550, enabling deep integration of hardware and software.
