Westlake Robotics, a robotics company incubated by Westlake University, has launched Titan o1, a humanoid robot designed to imitate human movements in real time. Westlake University said the robot is already being introduced as a product rather than remaining a lab prototype, with support for broader customization.
Titan o1 is powered by Westlake Robotics’ general action pre-training model, or GAE, which is positioned as a general motion model for humanoid robots. The system also supports remote operation over a network, while the robot is being pitched for use in areas such as education, retail, performance, public security, firefighting, and mining.
