Currently the Tencent QQ penguin crushes the instant messaging market in China with over 800 million active users. But now Qihoo 360, better known for its free anti-virus software, is entering the IM arena with a mobile messenger.
It is reported that the mobile messaging solution will work on social contacts and communication tools to support free text messaging, photos and voice messages.
Late last year, a public war broke out between Tencent and 360 where Tencent event stopped service to QQ users whose computers were installed with Qihoo 360’s software.
