Alibaba announced last week that it had reached partnership with ten delivery companies including the state-owned China Post and EMS.  They’d share logistics data with Alibaba. Hopefully new services would be created based on the data base, according to the announcement. All the others are top private delivery services in China.

At the same time, Tmall, the business-to-customer platform under Alibaba, reached cooperation with China Post and EMS on cash on delivery and package pick-up. China Post will set up more locations for package pick-up from June.

Also, Tmall users will soon be able to reserve delivery timeslot on Shunfeng, one of the biggest logistics companies in China.
