In its 7th year running, CHINICT aims to reveal China’s strength as a global tech entrepreneurship and innovation powerhouse called ‘Chinization’.

The impressive speaker list includes some of China and the world’s top tech professionals, for example:

From China

From America

CHINICT was founded by Franck Nazikian, Co-founder of TripleHop Technologies (acquired by Oracle). Franck dreamed of exploring the world, having lived and worked in Latin America, Europe and North America but the missing piece was Asia so he had to come to China.

Franck’s vision, through CHINICT is to show the world how much China is “fast becoming the magnet for tech innovation and entrepreneurial talent”. Originally labeled as ‘crazy’, Franck wants to educate people both inside and outside China about the potential of its market and talent.

The event is aimed at helping entrepreneurial dreams come true. The format will showcase many successful founders in one on one short, on stage interviews. Many of the companies are ‘rising stars’ in the pre-IPO stage like Qunar, Linkedin and Groupon. The event will also host key executives from companies like Microsoft and VC’s like KPCB.

Franck believes that the true benefit for attendees is leaving the event inspired to be “on a mission”. For start-ups, it’s also a good opportunity to network with the press and strategic partners. For investors it’s a good time to network with potential start-ups.  The event also aims to bring together decision makers to spur action.

CHINICT will be simul-cast in both English and Chinese. It will also be video-live streamed through Tencent, Sina and TechCrunch. It is expected to be a sold out event with 700 attendees.
