adSage, an online digital marketing company has announced it has raised a US$20 million series A round of funding from some U.S. VC funds, SIG Asia and Meridian Capital. Microsoft Senior VP, Harry Shum has joined the corporate advisory board and will be in charge of strategic development in China.

The company was established in 2007 and is headquartered in Beijing. It focuses on 5 core businesses: Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Mobile Phone Advertising, Website Revenue Optimization and Global Media and Agents for Custom Software Development.

adSage CEO Zhaohui Tang said “After this financing, adSage will continue to increase investment in product and technology development efforts to create greater value for customers; and focus on developing emerging digital marketing, such as social media marketing platform, mobile Internet advertising market (mobiSage), smart media, ad networks and revenue optimization. ”

The company now has has over 400 employees in the United States, Seattle, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuxi and other places with many branches.
