ZDNet reported that China Mobile will be holding a Worldwide Developers Conference on December 14 and will officially launch a communication platform called “Flying Letters +”.

The platform is believed to be part of a internet strategy to integrate more forms of communication such as SNS and instant messaging.

The “Fly chat” tools consist of a Talkbox-like instant voice messaging system, an app that can share your location, a  business card scanning app and can perform image and file transfer.

The tools support iOS, Android and Symbian operating systems.

At the conference, the launch of a personal IDC or mobile cloud storage service will be made. Digital information such as PC files, chat history, mobile apps will be able to be stored in the cloud.
