Sumsang planned to launch 70 customized apps for its first smartwatch Galaxy Gear. Chinese apps, WeChat, MojiChinaDianpingZaker, Qunar Travel are featured in the debut of Samsung smartwatch at the 53rd Annual IFA technology trade show in Berlin last week.

Qunar Travel will allow users instant access to their flight and hotel booking status, flight statuses and weather conditions. Aside from Qunar push notifications, users can also “tap” to directly check the latest progress on their bookings and continue reading synced information on their phones.

Samsung smartwatch will be able to tap into Chinese mobile travel user base and database in collaboration with Qunar, which has 43 million activated users by the end of June 2013, according to Qunar.
