Cylan Technology, a Shenzhen-based mobile office solution provider, reportedly secured around 25 million yuan ($4.07 million) of Series A funding from SIG Asia (report in Chinese).

Cylan’s main product iCylanAPP enables customers to gain remote access to enterprises applications via smartphones or tablets. The cloud-based resources will be delivered to iCylanAPP platform, which provides high performance, security, and favorable user experience. Customers can access to the desktop, run applications, change settings via mobile terminals. iCylanAPP now supports the operating systems of Android, iOS, windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry.

Cylan’s SSL VPN enables secure remote access for employees, customers and strategic partners to business-critical resources. It requires no pre-installed clients or changes to the network and fully eliminates IP conflict, firewall, NAT traversal and compatibility issues associated with legacy VPNs.

With Cylan’s SGA, hardware compatible to SSL VPN, mobile and offsite users only need a Web browser to access e-mails, files, intranets and applications.

The company’s products has been applied to various industries, including banking, telecom, finance, securities, education, energy and manufacturing, totaling more than 5,000 customers nationwide, according to the company.
