Keith

Keith Teare is founder and CEO of just.me Inc, and a founder at the Palo Alto incubator, Archimedes Labs.

He was founder and CEO of RealNames Corporation that was founded in 1998. The company used natural language keywords, mapped to URIs to allow native language navigation. Mr. Teare thinks 3721, a company founded by current CEO of Qihoo Zhou Hongyi and then sold to Yahoo! China, modeled RealNames.

He co-founded The EasyNet Group (acquired by Rupert Murdoch’s B Sky B in 2007) in 1994, TechCrunch (acquired by AOL in Sept 2010), and edgeio corporation in 2005 (acquired by Looksmart in 2007). He’s also founder of cScape, a UK systems integrator (acquired by NetB2B2 in 2001).

gonghaiyan

Gong Haiyan founded Jiayuan.com, one of the first online dating services in China. The business turned out to be a success for both her career and personal life. Jiayuan would become the first and by far the only online dating service to go public on the NASDAQ. Ms. Gong also met her husband on her own dating site.

She now is co-founder of 91Waijiao.com, an online English-learning service. The company has raised $4 million in series A funding from NetEase, one of the biggest Internet companies in China.
