Video Streaming Service Baofeng recently announced 200 million milestone for its mobile app (report in Chinese). China’s total mobile Internet users amounted to 820 million, of which 30% are 3G subscribers, according to 2013 Q3 report released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The usage time of Baofeng reached 618 million hours, representing 36.1 percent of the total 1.71 billion hours in this September, according to iResearch’s iUserTracker. Baofeng’s daily active users climbed to 28.67 million, taking the second spot on the list next only to QVOD.

Baofeng covers wide categories of contents ranging from licensed copyrighted videos and user-generated contents in a bid to attract larger user base.

The company had submitted application for IPO on the Shenzhen GEM this July.
