TechCrunch Shenzhen 2019’s Startup Alley provides a platform on which startups can promote their products and interact with each other. From 2013 to 2018, more than 1,550 startups participated in each TechCrunch International Summit Startup Alley. At TC Startup Alley, startups from all over the world introduce their products, share their product design thinking, and discuss business development and tech trends.

At TechCrunch Shenzhen 2018 Startup Alley, more than 150 startups showcased smart products with breakthrough technologies and came up with creative ideas to commercialize and apply their technologies. In the artificial intelligence space, there were not only dynamic control bionic robots, Venii N1 floor sweeping robots, Bob smart anti-snoring pillows, Bobi B8 smart robots, Jidou D1S smart navigation, and smart child education robots, but also sound-proof Hi-Fi music streaming systems, JIGO precise vision marketing machines, comprehensive solutions for high-density Wi-Fi 2.0, XPUMP 3D smart surround-sound engines, and MANTABOT smart diving assistants. In the interactive gaming space, there were logic tower smart building blocks and SPECTRA AI smart electric skateboards. Startups in the blockchain, AR, VR, and education spaces were also present.

Media exposure

As China’s most prominent innovation summit, Startup Alley brings together prominent news outlets to report on participating startups’ new products to consumers in China and the rest of the world. Startup Alley is a platform for startups to not only showcase new products but also communicate with and learn from each other. At TechCrunch Shenzhen 2018, over 200 media outlets with over 100 on-site journalists participated, publishing over 500 articles that reached a global audience of over 10 million.
