Huawei has signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkish telecommunications provider Türk Telekom to develop a 5G network in Turkey. “Huawei has been an important contributor to Turkey’s infrastructure for 20 years,” Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Deputy Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan told Turkish media. The Chinese telecom giant employs 750 engineers at its Turkish research and development center and has partnered with Türk Telekom for more than a decade.
