Multiple users reported that their Mijia smart home appliances, ranging from lights to air conditioning units, have been offline and unresponsive since Thursday night, according to a report by Chinese media outlet Jiemian. Xiaomi’s smart home brand responded on its Weibo account that its app and voice control functions were temporarily down due to network issues and promised that all services would be resumed as soon as possible. A Xiaomi spokesperson told TechNode on Friday that the devices are now working again.
