Chinese phone vendor Oppo introduced ColorOS 13, a highly customized phone system based on Android 13 on Thursday, bringing dozens of new features to its devices. Google just rolled out Android 13 to its Pixel series, making Oppo one of the first third-party vendors shipping the newest system. ColorOS 13 introduces an enhanced “Pixelate” feature to help users obscure sensitive information from chat history screenshots. It also supports using up to three phone apps on a Windows PC and simplifies transferring files between PC and phones. Another notable feature enables users to have better connections when using meeting apps by prioritizing network resources to them. The new system will arrive in 35 models from Oppo this year, and an additional 25 models the following year. [The Verge]
