Chinese automaker Geely announced on Thursday that it will launch a new electric vehicle lineup on Feb. 23 called Geely Galaxy, or Geely Yinhe in Chinese, which will feature its latest electric battery technology and smart functions. The company plans to launch multiple all-electric and plug-in hybrid models in the next three years, targeting the country’s mid- to high-end price segments, Gan Jiayue, chief executive of Geely Automobile Group, said earlier this month. The Zhejiang-based automaker has set a goal of selling 600,000 electrified vehicles this year, which would represent 83% growth on its figures for 2022. [Geely announcement, in Chinese]
