China’s overseas fast fashion retailer Shein opened a new office in Dublin on May 11, and will use the Ireland location as its headquarters for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. Shein plans to hire 30 key roles in the Dublin office by the end of 2023, according to a statement from Ireland’s Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment. These new openings will focus on data analytics, security engineering, finance management, and legal affairs. In early May, PDD Holdings (parent of online fast fashion app Temu) also moved its principal executive offices from Shanghai to Dublin. [Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment of Dublin]
