HoYoverse’s 2022 revenue and net profit amounted to RMB 27.34 billion ($3.82 billion) and RMB 16.14 billion ($2.25 billion) respectively, according to a report by Chinese state-owned media outlet Guangming Daily on June 8. The report labeled HoYoverse, established in 2011, one of the top 30 national cultural enterprises in China. If the data is accurate, this would mean HoYoverse was one of the top 10 global gaming companies by revenue in 2022, joining Tencent, Sony PS, Microsoft Xbox, NetEase, Nintendo, Bandai, Activision Blizzard, EA, and Take-Two. As of June 2023, HoYoverse only has four online games on the market: Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Tears of Themis.
