At the Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2023, Chinese phone maker ZTE showcased a range of new smart devices for attendees. Among the highlights were the nubia Neo Air smart AR glasses and the AI-powered tablet, nubia Pad 3D. The nubia Neo Air were introduced as the world’s first lightweight refractive AR glasses powered by a generative pre-trained transformer (GPT). The glasses offer real-time translations, navigation, teleprompter functions, voice assistant chats, and other intelligent features through an integrated AI model. ZTE’s booth also featured the nubia Pad 3D, a 5G tablet that the company claims is capable of displaying high-quality 3D visuals without the need for glasses. The tablet uses eye-tracking technology to adjust AI settings in real-time based on the movement of the user’s eyeballs. [IThome, in Chinese]
