Chinese electric vehicle brand Aito aims for annual sales of 600,000 electric vehicles in 2024, more than 10 times this year’s total, according to sources cited by LatePost on Tuesday. The brand, a collaboration between Huawei and manufacturing partner Seres, has briefed parts suppliers on the outlook, offering three models (M5, M7, and M9) currently and plans for another, the M8, next year. Aito recently launched the M9, a luxury full-size crossover with Huawei’s technologies, priced at RMB 469,800 ($65,725). The EV brand reported over 10,000 non-refundable orders for the flagship SUV within two hours of its launch on Monday.
