The mobile game Monster Hunter Outlanders, licensed by Capcom and developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group, will begin its testing phase on April 29. This test will be a limited-availability, account-restricted, data-wipe beta with in-game purchases enabled, and is only open to Android devices equipped with Snapdragon 845 or higher processors and running Android 12.0 or above. As the first licensed Monster Hunter action mobile game in mainland China, the game recreates classic elements of the series, including iconic weapons such as the great sword and long sword, as well as core mechanics such as part-based damage and weak-point targeting.

It also introduces original features such as a companion hunting system and an open-world ecosystem set on Esuo Island. Currently, players can register for participation through the official website. [TechNode Reporting]
