TikTok launched its lifestyle services brand, TikTok GO, in Indonesia, the US and Japan, marking a further push into travel and local commerce. The company said TikTok GO allows users to discover and book hotels, attractions, dining and travel experiences directly within the app. The feature was first introduced in Indonesia in late April before expanding to additional markets.

In the US, where TikTok says it reaches more than 200 million users, the service enables users to browse travel-related content via videos, search results or location pages, check availability, and complete bookings without leaving the platform. TikTok has partnered with major travel and experience providers including Booking.com, Expedia, Viator, GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Trip.com to power the service. [TechNode reporting]
