Chinese automakers, including BYD and Chery, accounted for a record 34% of plug-in hybrid vehicle deliveries in Europe in June, according to Dataforce data.
Chinese brands also represented 11% of all new-car sales in Europe and 15% of battery-electric vehicle deliveries during the month. The 34% figure refers specifically to plug-in hybrid deliveries, which combine a battery with a gasoline engine. [Bloomberg]
