Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3 is now available through Fireworks AI on Microsoft’s Foundry platform, giving Azure customers a managed route to run the model through OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions and Responses APIs. Fireworks lists Kimi among more than 20 open models served through Foundry.

Microsoft Foundry provides the Azure-native environment for procurement, identity, billing and governance, while Fireworks supplies the inference engine and dedicated capacity. The setup is designed to help companies move open models from evaluation to production without managing their own GPU infrastructure.

Moonshot remains the model provider: its Kimi platform offers the Kimi K3 API, while its technical documentation lists self-hosted deployment paths including vLLM and SGLang.
