Alibaba’s Qwen previewed a new AI glasses model called N1 at the AI payment area of the 2026 Bund Summit in Shanghai, according to a report.

The glasses were largely covered at the exhibition, but the company is expected to equip them with iris recognition. The reported false-recognition rate is below one in one million, while eye tracking could allow users to look at a payment terminal to verify their identity.

The N1 reportedly has no display, which could make it cheaper than Qwen’s S1 glasses. Qwen has not yet disclosed the product’s full specifications, price or launch date. [IT Home, in Chinese]
