DeepSeek has released version 0.1.5 of DeepSeek Harness, adding dedicated optimization for V4.1 Flash and new file-upload and sidebar-preview features, IT Home reported on Sept. 10.
Version 0.1.5 supports V4.1 Flash in standard, programmatic tool-calling (PTC) and minimal modes. It also allows system prompts to be updated while retaining existing KV Cache, and lets users upload images and PDFs for model-assisted file reading.
The update adds workspace file-tree previews for Markdown, HTML, PDF, code and image files, standardized plugin extension points, improved long-session performance and two-way communication with child agents.
