Chinese robotics technology company D-Robotics has completed a $400 million Series C funding round. The company said the financing will support its Sunrise chip portfolio and a full-chain software platform for robot development.

D-Robotics said its revenue grew several times year over year in the first half of 2026, while cumulative shipments of its Sunrise chips surpassed 8 million units. The company also said its embodied AI business has entered mass production, and that its Sunrise S600 chip was adopted by more than 20 customers within six months of launch.

The new software platform is designed to cover data collection, model training, simulation, inference and deployment. D-Robotics said it aims to provide a combined hardware and software base for different categories of robots. [D-Robotics]
