BYD launched its Da Han flagship electric sedan in China on October 13, with three variants priced from RMB 235,900 to RMB 275,900. The rear-wheel-drive versions offer a claimed range of 1,008 kilometers under China’s CLTC testing cycle, while the all-wheel-drive model is rated at 880 kilometers.
The large executive sedan measures 5,256 millimeters long and has a 3,130-millimeter wheelbase. Standard equipment includes rear-wheel steering, DiSus-A dual-chamber air suspension and the lidar-equipped God’s Eye B driver-assistance system.
The Da Han uses BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology, with the company claiming a charge from 10% to 97% in nine minutes. The top all-wheel-drive version accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds. [CNMO, in Chinese]
