DeepSeek is rapidly expanding its team as it outlines new growth plans to investors, according to an October 27 report by Chinese technology outlet Ifeng Tech, citing several people familiar with the matter. The AI company’s main offices are in Beijing and Hangzhou.
The expansion follows a June 25 recruitment announcement in which DeepSeek said it planned to at least double the size of every department. It advertised 33 positions spanning research, computing infrastructure, product development and corporate functions, including data-center construction roles in Ulanqab.
