Chinese brain-computer interface startup NeuroXess has raised RMB 700 million in Series B funding, co-led by SDIC Juli, Shenzhen Capital Group and Qinzhi Capital. The proceeds will support multicenter clinical trials, regulatory submissions, manufacturing capacity and next-generation product development.
NeuroXess develops implantable systems that combine flexible electrodes with wireless power and data transmission. Its system is designed to support movement and speech decoding as well as control of external devices. The company said it has completed 65 clinical cases and launched a registration trial involving nearly 20 hospitals in July. It is also building a 14,300-square-meter manufacturing facility with planned annual capacity of 10,000 systems. [PEdaily, in Chinese]
