Jingshuo, a subsidiary of autonomous driving company WeRide that develops data infrastructure for physical AI, has raised tens of millions of dollars in pre-Series A funding. Investors include Vision Knight Capital, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and Sirius Capital.
The company will use the funding to expand its research and development team and develop its data platform, world models, and systems for building reusable robot skills. It also plans to produce more high-quality datasets covering different tasks and operating environments.
Jingshuo grew out of WeRide’s physical AI research efforts. Its CEO, Huo Da, was WeRide’s first employee and helped establish engineering teams in China, the US, and Singapore. Following the financing, Jingshuo remains a majority-owned WeRide subsidiary, operating independently while its financial results remain consolidated into the parent company’s accounts.
