LeTV, online video-related service provider,  launched its third smart TV, S50, today. With a 50-inch screen, S50 has 2D and 3D versions that are sold for 2499 yuan ($410) and 2999 yuan ($490), respectively.

The new model also charges an annual fee, 490 yuan, for premium content. Users can opt-out of it but enjoy other services.

As smart TVs in China market are not that different from one another in functions or video content, what they compete for are screen size, price and the like.

S50 2D is bigger in screen than Xiaomi Smart TV but priced at a lower price. The previous two by LeTV were a 60-inch one priced at 6999 yuan (US$1130) and a 39-inch one sold for 1999 yuan (US$320).
