Autonomous driving startup Fabu on Thursday announced that it has raised around RMB 100 million ($15.4 million) in a Series B+. The investment was co-led by Chinese investment firms Cowin Capital and DYEE Capital. Fabu said it has been testing automated trucks that could carry containers in Zhejiang province’s Ningbo-Zhoushan Port for about a year and a half. The Hangzhou-based company was formed in August 2017 by He Xiaofei, a former president of Didi’s research institute. [Fabu statement, in Chinese]
