Phone maker Nothing recently secured $96 million in a new funding round led by venture capital firm Highland Europe, with participation from existing investors such as Google Ventures, EQT Partners, C Capital, Swedish House Mafia, and EverYi Capital. This investment brings Nothing’s total funding to $250 million. Founded in 2020 by Chinese brand OnePlus’s co-founder Carl Pei, the London-based company now has 450 employees and seven offices worldwide, including locations in the UK, Sweden, China, and India. On July 11, Nothing is set to introduce its new Nothing Phone (2). Over the past two years, Nothing has sold more than 1.5 million devices, including the Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Ear(1), and Nothing Ear(2), according to CEO Pei.
