On Wednesday, Alibaba’s data intelligence services subsidiary Lingyang introduced a new platform called Lingyang One, which will offer one-stop data services to e-commerce merchants operating on multiple platforms. The new unit of Alibaba created the marketing term “data-intelligence-as-a-service” (DAAS) when it was established a year ago, aiming to help clients improve their efficiency and decision making through data. Peng Xinyu, chief executive of Lingyang, said at a press conference for the new product that enterprises could access their multi-channel operation data at any time, and automatically synchronize business instructions to various workplace collaboration systems such as DingTalk, Lark, and WeCom through Lingyang One. It was also announced at the press conference that the newly-launched platform will soon be integrated into Alibaba’s AI model Tongyi Qianwen. [TechNode reporting]
