Xpeng launched the MONA L05 on October 29, expanding its lower-priced MONA lineup with its first five-seat SUV. Official list prices start at RMB 144,800, while a limited-time launch offer brings the entry price to RMB 139,800.

The model comes in battery-electric and extended-range versions. Electric variants offer up to 635 kilometers of CLTC-rated range, while the extended-range version offers 310 kilometers of electric range and a combined range of 1,310 kilometers. Xpeng said the vehicle was developed for adaptation to 65 countries and regions.

The SUV uses a vision-based assisted-driving system. Max versions carry one Turing AI chip, while Ultra SE versions use two. Xpeng said the first 5,000 vehicles had already rolled off a dedicated production line, allowing vehicle allocation to begin on launch night. [IT Home, in Chinese]
