Huawei has launched the Pura X View, a wide-screen smartphone with a 16:9.5 display that the company positions as a new form factor for video, reading and gaming. The phone is 6.68 millimeters thick, weighs about 201 grams and uses the Kirin 9030S processor.
The Pura X View starts at RMB 5,999 for the 12GB-plus-256GB version and will go on sale on Sept. 9. Higher-end configurations include 512GB and 1TB of storage. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
