Nio’s expansion in Norway has met expectations “in all aspects” as “more than a quarter” of the customers who have tested its vehicles there have ended up placing orders, chief executive William Li said on an earnings call on Wednesday. Li reaffirmed the EV maker’s plan to enter five additional European countries next year, as Nio aims to have overseas markets account for half of its revenue “over the long term.” On Wednesday, the company posted RMB 9.8 billion in revenue in the third quarter, beating analysts’ estimates of RMB 9.32 billion, according to Bloomberg.
